The Orphaned Bee Announce Debut EP 'Thinking Without Language'
Bird’s Robe is pleased to welcome THE ORPHANED BEE to the family in 2025!
Australian synth-rock artist, The Orphaned Bee is the brain-child of renowned sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist Brett Tollis.
Following the independent release of the record’s first single, Bird’s Robe will release a full EP on 28 February. This genre-bending debut release is punctuated by soaring melodies, prog beats, vocoders, 80’s synth lines, 90s guitar sounds and 2000s glitches.
The EP’s five tracks take you on an emotional journey of optimism, pain, joy, fear and eventual redemption.
The superb production features Alex O’Toole on drums (Meniscus), mixing and piano by Ron Pollard (Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, Yomi Ship) and drums recorded by Tim Carr (We Lost the Sea, Matt Corby).
