Toehider announce UK, Europe, Australia and US tour dates, beginning May 2024
Bird's Robe Records is thrilled to announce that Toehider, Australia's most prolific progressive rock project, will be embarking on a world tour, kicking off in May 2024.
Currently in the midst of releasing a series of 12 EPs in 12 months (again), Toehider will return to the live stage for the first time in six years with shows across several continents. Beginning in May, the band will tour the UK and Europe with fellow Australians Closure in Moscow and Hungarian prog outfit Shell Beach. Later in May, Toehider will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the acclaimed 2014 album "What Kind of Creature Am I?" by performing it live, front to back, on the Australian leg of touring alongside Closure in Moscow and US indie-prog legends The Dear Hunter.
In July, Toehider will perform in the USA for the first time ever, supporting sleepmakeswaves at their show at The Meadows in New York. Along with seven dates alongside Closure In Moscow on their 'Soft Hell' Summer USA Tour. That will see the two bands play two shows in California, as well as shows in Portland, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver and Chicago.
With a soundtrack that delivers on every level, fans can anticipate a high energy spectacle, combining the trademark mix of eclectic craziness, haunting riffs, deep musicality, wailing vocals, and humour that fully showcases Mike's talent and creative excellence.
Mike Mills is also known for his work with popular rock opera composer Arjen Lucassen, for whom he has starred on several 'Ayreon' studio and live projects.
