Svntax Error release new album 'The Vanishing Existence' and UKEU tour dates
Australian experimental rock group SVNTAX ERROR will release their second album ‘The Vanishing Existence’ on Friday 21 April through Bird’s Robe.
They will also make their international live debut in May, performing at Belgium’s Dunk Festival on 19 May and The Black Heart in London on 22 May.
Drawing influences from Mogwai, The Cure, Nick Cave, The Dirty Three and more, the Sydney-based band have earned a reputation for thrilling sonic explorations making use of hypnotic grooves, wailing theremins and of course, a post-rock penchant for delay pedals.
The album displays the band’s full capabilities, as it shifts from the uplifting theremin-led post-rock of ‘Kelvin Waves Goodbye’ to the swirling and hypnotic ‘Relentless’ to the introspective and brooding ‘Broken Nightmares.
Live, the band have earned a dedicated following for their enthralling performances. The band wrapped up an east coast tour supporting Japan’s MONO earlier this year and have headlined their own club shows regularly before and since the pandemic.
‘The Vanishing Existence’ follows their well-received debut ‘Message’ and both are available on vinyl, CD & digital formats from their webstore at www.svntaxerror.com and https://svntaxerror.bandcamp.com/
