Shanghai join Bird's Robe Records & announce 'Buyer Beware' tour

Sydney?s SHANGHAI have joined Sydney-based label Bird?s Robe Records.The group have spent years touring their colourful live show and mixed genre sound featuring impressive musicianship, showmanship and verve, which has earned them supports with the likes of The Protomen (USA), Dead Letter Circus, The Red Paintings & Vampillia (Japan).They have featured at festivals including Dead Of Winter, Progfest, Featherfest, headlining the Big Top Ball at This Is Not Art Festival and their tracks have earned airplay across triple j, 4zzz, FBi, 2SER and more.After a long gestation period, the band will finally release their debut album ?The Ultraviolent? in early 2015.Shanghai join the growing Bird's Robe Australian?roster alongside sleepmakeswaves, The Red Paintings, Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, Toehider, Pirate, Dumbsaint, Solkyri, Anubis, Unitopia, The Nerve?& more, as well as international experimental rock icons 65daysofstatic (UK), Rosetta (US), Atlantis (NED) and Vampillia (JPN).The band released the following announcement:?We are so delighted to be joining forces with Mr Mike Solo and his Bird's Robe Collective.
