MEW. For the past 20 years, this iconic experimental rock group has earned legions of admirers around the world, across six acclaimed studio albums, playing the world?s biggest festivals, yet they have never toured Australia?Until now.For the first time ever, the Danish quartet will bring their astounding live show to our shores, playing three exclusive headline shows in support of their latest release ?+ -?With a passionate Australian fan base, the band have often expressed their desire to visit. An online petition started in 2009 grew into the dedicated and vocal community ?Mewstralia? who have lobbied hard for a maiden visit by the band. More recently, one of the band?s biggest fans, Kiwi songstress KI...MBRA, brought further buzz down under when she featured on tracks ?The Night Believer? and ?Water Slides.?So, finally, it?s happening.Mike Solo, Director of promoters The Bird?s Robe Collective, said: ?I have been a fan of Mew for nearly a decade and have often dreamed of seeing them play live.
