Dumbsaint release 'Disappearance in a Minor Role' film trilogy
Cinematic instrumental four-piece?DUMBSAINT?have announced the release of their three-part audio/visual project,?Disappearance In A Minor Role. This ambitious 40-minute-long experimental short film/EP release marks the close of a busy and creative period for Dumbsaint, which has seen the staggered release of three short films:?Part III: Celeste,?Part II: Sara?and?Part I: Gabrielle,?which make up the full EP. Written, filmed and edited entirely by the members of?Dumbsaint, the EP is the result of 90 hours of location shooting and 450 hours of editing over twelve months, setting a new technical standard for the band?s offbeat film work. To celebrate the release, all three parts will be available together on cassette tape in strictly limited quantity courtesy of?Grimoire Tape Cassette Cvlture, featuring deluxe packaging and the bonus track, ?End Titles?. Purchasers of the 14-track release will also receive a collection of behind the scenes photos.
