SUPER FLORENCE JAM
Based in Sydney, Australia, super FLORENCE jam were a volcanic mixer of rock and roll. Consisting of Adam Krawczyk on vocals and guitar, Laurence Rosier Staines on guitar, vocals and keys, Mike Solo on drums and Alex Tulett on doubleneck bass, they bashed out songs in styles ranging from blues to progressive rock, punk to funk (not necessarily in that order) before emerging with garage rock with a psychedelic bent.
After a self-titled EP in 2009 and the 'Anastasia Won't You Sleep With Me' 3-track single of 2010, the band kick-started 2011 with a wealth of new material. 6 singles in 6 months were released for free online, leading up to the band's second EP 'We Always Knew It Would Come To This' which was launched to a steaming packed house at Sydney's Annandale Hotel.
Three Australian tours, supports for British India, Airbourne, Philadelphia Grand Jury and Mental As Anything, busking to thousands of people in Sydney's Pitt St Mall and over 2,000 CDs sold, they established themselves as one of Australia's most underrated young bands.
